Ovila T. LeBlanc, 74, died Saturday on arrival at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital.

Born at Pré-d'en-Haut, he was a son of the late Théotime and Agnès (Boudreau) LeBlanc. He was a carpenter by trade and was employed for 23 years with Maritime Co-Operative Services in Moncton until retirement. He was a member of the Pré-d'en Haut Golden Age Club.

He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Gautreau; two sons, Paul-Eugène of Memramcook West and Francis LeBlanc of Fredericton; a daughter, Mrs. Léonard LeBlanc (Marie-Marthe) of Pré-d'en-Haut; two brothers, Valerie ôf Moncton and Gillis LeBlanc of Preé-d'en-Haut, and by seven grandchildren. A brother, Clovis LeBlanc, died previously.

The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memraincook. The funeral mass will, be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Notre Dame de L'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
